To advance this standard, the North American Space Institute (NASI) has formally enrolled in the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program (UCF BIP) Discovery & Validation Program. Located in Orlando, a primary virtualization, modeling, and simulation hub for defense and aerospace, this engagement positions NASI to integrate its technical certification framework directly alongside key regional partners, program directors, and industry stakeholders.
Aligning Interoperable Defense Standards
A core objective of NASI’s engagement with UCF BIP is enforcing interoperable technical standards across the supply chain. Operating as a unified force alongside LEXX and Alliance Cyber, NASI is aligning its flagship Space Systems Technician (SST) curriculum, certified by the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace (CCAA), with US Department of Defense frameworks, including DoD 8140 and ANSI compliance.
By bridging these technical frameworks, NASI provides institutional buyers with certified personnel who are day one ready to operate inside high-stakes cleanrooms, satellite assembly facilities, and launch processing infrastructure.
Virtualization and OrbitLab Deployment
Facility constraints and equipment access have historically created severe bottlenecks in technical workforce deployment. NASI bypasses these physical limitations through proprietary simulation architectures and virtualized training environments.
Our rapidly deployable OrbitLab Mobile Units deliver immersive, VR enabled cleanroom simulations directly to key aerospace hubs. In coordination with the UCF innovation ecosystem, this approach allows NASI to deliver standardized, mission ready training modules directly to commercial primes and institutional partners without physical infrastructure bottlenecks.
