Executive keynote to anchor Canada’s premier space hackathon at the historic Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation, reinforcing continental talent development and open data innovation.
TORONTO, ON — North American Space Institute (NASI) Chief Marketing Officer, Mahfuz Chowdhury, has been invited to deliver the keynote address at NASA Space Apps Toronto 2026, taking place November 14–15, 2026.
Hosted at the Bombardier Centre for Aerospace and Aviation at Centennial College Downsview Campus (a 138,000-square-foot aerospace hub housed within the historic, repurposed de Havilland aircraft facility), NASA Space Apps Toronto has surpassed 250 registered in person participants, solidifying its position as one of the largest participant volume hackathons in Canada.
NASA Space Apps is the world’s largest annual global hackathon, uniting developers, scientists, designers, storytellers, and space enthusiasts. Over an intensive 48 hour sprint, multidisciplinary teams collaborate using NASA open source data to build software, hardware prototypes, data visualizations, and operational solutions for complex challenges on Earth and in space.
