The Space Systems Technician Program is divided into two progressive modules designed to balance theoretical learning with hands-on application.

Each stage builds directly on the last, ensuring students develop both technical understanding and operational competence before certification.

Course Structure

This module focuses on building your foundational knowledge of space systems, safety, and documentation standards. Classes are delivered online to make learning flexible and accessible.

Course Enrolment: $2000

Total Hours: 56

Schedule:

  • Regular weekly sessions.
  • Additional sessions may be scheduled to support mentorship, review, and extra assistance.
  • Virtual sessions are voluntary, but students must demonstrate mastery of all written components to advance.

Performance Requirements:

  • Each Performance Objective (PO) will include a written test.
  • A minimum passing grade of 80% is required for each PO.
  • All Module 1 POs must be successfully completed before beginning Module 2.

Learning Emphasis:

  • Core theory and safety knowledge.
  • Documentation and reporting procedures.
  • Virtual demonstrations and guided discussions with instructors.



Module 2 transitions from virtual learning to hands-on technical work. You will apply the knowledge gained in Module 1 through direct operation, assembly, and testing of space systems components.

Course Enrolment: $2995

Total Hours: 52

Delivery Format:

  • Conducted on-site at NASI mobile training facilities.
  • 100% attendance is mandatory – every session involves supervised practical work.

Assessment:

  • Students are evaluated on a PASS/FAIL basis.
  • Adherence to all safety protocols is required at all times.
  • Unsafe or non-compliant conduct may result in immediate course removal.

Learning Emphasis:

  • Equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Prototype testing and validation.
  • Application of clean-room and documentation standards in live environments.
